Anwar Saifullah Khan
Chairman


	Anwar Saifullah Khan is Chairman and Director of a number of Group companies. After obtaining his Masters degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University, UK, he further supplemented his educational credentials by taking a Masters degree in Public Administration from University of Southern California, USA. Anwar Saifullah Khan joined the Civil Service of Pakistan in 1970. He held a number of command and administrative appointments. He was the Consul General of Pakistan in Montreal, Canada from 1980 to 1984. He resigned from the Civil Service in 1984 to join the Group businesses. He was elected a Member of the National Assembly (Parliament) in 1988 (1988-1990) and Senator in 1990 (1990 to 1997). He served as the Federal Minister for Environment and Urban Affairs from 1991 to 1993 and Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources from 1994 to 1996

Javed Saifullah Khan
Co-Chairman

Heading the Saif Group of Companies since 1990, Javed Saifullah Khan is the Chairman of the Saif Holdings, the holding company of the Saif Group. He is also the Chairman of major Group companies including Saif Power, Saif Energy, Saif Textile Mills and Kohat Textile Mills.

Mr. Javed S Khan joined the Saif Group of Companies in 1973. Since 1980 he has managed the Saif Group, and has been responsible for promoting new ventures in high-technology businesses and transforming the Group into the diversified conglomerate it is today.

His deep and comprehensive expertise of Pakistan’s corporate sector and his dedication to successfully attracting foreign direct investment into Pakistan was recognized by the Government of Pakistan when he was awarded the prestigious Sitara I Imtiaz on the 23rd of March 2007.

Today Mr. Javed S Khan continues to serve as:

Member, Board of Directors – Pakistan International Airlines Corporation (PIA)
Member, Board of Directors – Pakistan Mobile Communications Limited (Mobilink)
Member, Executive Committee – Pakistan Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies (PPEPCA)
Member, Board of Directors – Lok Virsa.

Member, Task Force (IT & Telecommunication Advisory Board) Ministry of Science and Technology
Member, Task Force (Liberalization & Privatization of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited) Ministry of Science & Technology.
Member, Board of Directors – Habib Bank Limited
Member Central Managing Committee and Chairman of the Zonal Committee, APTMA (seven terms).

Mr. Javed S Khan graduated with a BA in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University and went on to receive his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1973.

Jehangir Saifullah Khan
Director / CEO

Jehangir Saifullah Khan joined the Group after graduating from University of Virginia, USA in 2001. After successfully managing the Group’s Textile operations for three years, he moved to Saif Telecom, where he was involved in developing and securing financing for Pakistan’s first under-sea fiber optic cable system TW-1.

He was made the Chief Operating Officer of Saif Energy Ltd; the Group’s Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Company in January 2006 and is presently the Chief Executive Officer of Saif Energy Ltd.

Mr. Khan has worked with Merrill Lynch, Salomon Smith Barney and ABN AMRO Bank while being a student. He is also the member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO). He has also served as Member Executive Committee of the prestigious Pakistan Petroleum Exploration & Production Association (PPEPCA) in Pakistan.

Hamid Masood Sohail
Director


	Mr. H. Masood Sohail has done his Bsc and Msc degrees from the University of Michigan, USA. He has over 30 years of oil and gas experience. Prior to his joining Saif Energy Ltd , he remained the Managing Director/Chief Executive of Pakistan Petroleum Limited from 1990 to 1997, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pakistan Petroleum Limited. He has also served as Director on the board of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Sui Southern Gas Company Limited & Burshane Limited. He has also been Advisor to the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Resources, Government of Pakistan, from 1999 to 2003

Javed Hussain
Director


	Mr. Javed Hussain received his B.Sc degree from Punjab University and then graduated in Gas Engineering from University of Aston Birmingham, UK. Prior to his joining SEL, he remained Managing Director of Sui Southern Gas Company for six years and Managing Director of Sui Northern Gas Co for more than one year. He has also been director on boards of Pakistan Petroleum Limited(PPL), PIP & SNGPL. Presently he is also Director of Board of Interstate Gas Co. Ltd.

Osman Saifullah Khan
Director


	Osman Saifullah Khan is a Director of the Saif Group of Companies. He joined the group in 1995 and has been serving as the Chief Executive of Saif and Kohat Textile Mills Ltd Since 1999. Mr. Osman S Khan has been elected to a number of key appointments at All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) including: Central Vice – Chairman Chairman – NWFP Zone (two terms) Member – Central Managing Committee (two terms) Osman Saifullah Khan holds a Masters in Engineering, Economics and Management from Christ Church, the University of Oxford. Osman is currently on leave perusing his MBA from Stanford University.

Omar Saifullah Khan
Director


	Omar Saifullah Khan holds a Bachelors degree in Applied Economics from Cornell University, a Masters in Telecommunications and Information System from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Columbia University. He joined the Saif Group in 2005 as Vice President. He is responsible for the strategic planning and business development operations of the Saif Group. He also assists the Chairman and Co-chairman in the Group’s operations, project management and planning. His areas of expertise include global and regional business issues, priorities of capital and financial flows as well as current management best practices having recently returned from the United States after several years of education and work. He brings with him extensive work experience at FLAG Telecom.
